I have more than a few atc and fatbook projects due between yesterday and Valentines Day...here's two of them...
1st I painted some bristol vellum paper using my favorite metallic gold craft paint topped with Lumiere. Lumiere paints are now available at JoAnn's crafts...which I am excited about because I use to have to buy them in a little shop in Fort Bragg when we were on vacation. The stencils are from classes I took at Journalfest. Everything cleans up with soap and water.
I used the paper for twenty-five 4"x4" Fatbook pages for an Art and Soul Swap organized by Marian McBryde. The theme was Las Vegas so I made art roulette wheels, which actually turn on their rhinestone brads. they are suppose to be a bit thick, thus the name FATbook:)
And then I used the same paper for my Concroption Alice themed ATC swap, hosted by Colette Vandersande. I bought the alice images as a collage sheet from etsy.
and here's a somewhat out-of-focus shot of a beautiful amaryllis plant given to me by my friend Cheri Wulforst. It's the second huge bloom - I've never had such a prolific amaryllis before!
Hope everyone is having a CREATIVE weekend...stay warm!
