Every morning I woke up, opened the curtains, and saw these two women sitting at a picnic table, bundled up and watching the sun rise. I applaud their fortitude. I stuck in my PJ's, moved from my room to the couch and watched the sunrise - or what was left of it at 6:30. The coolest part was it looked different every morning. Funny how that works.

Friday sunrise
saturday sunrise
thursday sunrise ( I know, out of order)

artfest thursday night bonfire - yes, I really did go wild and toast two marshmallows and slam my annual artfest s'more!

Next to the bonfire, this is what's rockin and rollin in the Beach House...art journaling, laughter, friendship. It took me a couple of years to realize that hangin' with my peeps is one of the things that makes artfest so special to me.

Gotta have a Fort picture, this one taken with Toy Camera. It really wasn't as cold as the photo suggests. The weather was actually perfect. That's because Tracy and Teesha say some prayer to the weather gods every year,

Deer (watcha looking at?) photo taken with my iphone. Yes, I was that close and yes, there are 4 deer.
Tulips and my new shoes - again with Toy Camera. I keep it on the random setting, so I'm constantly surprised and rarely disapointed.

One of the Runamuckus Pack brought their therapy dog - the gorgeous Zombie.

A shot taken at the Jefferson County Antique Fair, which I visited with Michele and Nola on the way back home Sunday.

My luggage weight on return - a perfect 50!
